South Philadelphia High School will be holding a career day for our students on Wednesday, 4/26/2023 from 9:30am – 1:00pm. We would like to expose our students to different career fields and jobs that they have not been previously exposed to or do not have the proper
knowledge to enter certain industries. We would like to invite you as a presenter on this day to allow our students to meet someone who works in your field, tell them how you obtained your position, what they can be doing now if they are interested in a job like yours, and what a typical day for you looks like. We will also have an opportunity for students to ask you questions to help them gain more information about your career.
If you are able to participate, we ask that you send over a short bio to include: Your name, your profession, your place of work, how long you have been employed at your current job, and what education you obtained to prepare you for your job. It would also be helpful if you could include a photo of yourself. We would like to receive these brief bios by 4/12/23. They can be sent to myself at [email protected].
